Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Services:
Mass is celebrated the third Friday of every month. A Mass of the Anointing
is celebrated the second Friday of June and December. The remaining weeks Communion
Services are conducted. Ashes and Holy Communion are distributed on Ash Wednesday by
Eucharistic ministers. All Soul’s Day is marked by remembrance of all
residents who have died in the current year. St. Mary hosts the April birthday party providing
entertainment and gifts for residents celebrating April birthdays. Family members of residents are welcome. |

Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality:
St. Mary, Star of the Sea will be starting a
Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. The Sodality has a long and venerable history.

| Building and
Maintenance Committee:
This group assists in providing
for the necessary upkeep, repair, good care and maintenance of the
parish plant and property. The Committee ensures programs
are implemented for effective and efficient use of parish facilities,
and that appropriate and qualified personnel are employed to achieve
these ends. |
| Christian Formation:
Concerned with the total
Catholic education in the Parish, the committee works in collaboration
with the Pastor to provide leadership and guidance in the area of
Christian formation and to formulate goals and objectives that will
guide Catholic formation programs for children, youth and adults.
Christian Formation meets the 2nd Tuesday of every
month except June, July and August from 6:30-7:45 pm in the parish office.

| Christmas Bazaar & Prep:
The Christmas Bazaar Prep occurs every Wednesday in
Room 120 of the Parish Center from 9:30-11:00 am. for the annual event held in
November. |

| God's Helping Hands:
If you are going to be hospitalized or know of some
parishioner who is, please call the office 410-289-0652 or Nancy Smith
410-289-8251, so we may know your needs and assist. We will bring Holy
Eucharist to homebound parishioners. When illness or death occurs, we
can help with meals, transportation and the many demands of difficult
family situations.
God’s
Helping Hands meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month at noon. Volunteers
are invited and always welcome. |
| Holy Name Society:
Holy Name of Jesus Society meets for Mass on the
2nd Sunday of the month and meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. |

Student Outreach Program (ISOP):
This church ministry is designed to support
visiting foreign students – volunteers and financial support are needed.

Committee: The
Committee informs and involves the people of
the parish and the resources of the parish in service to one another and
the larger community outside of the parish to include larger issues of
socio-economic problems, and human rights, as well as to meet the
immediate needs of persons in distress. |
